Established in 2013, Athipathi International Theatre Ltd is a non-profit organisation dedicated to staging high-quality  Tamil dramas and providing systematic training for aspiring theatre enthusiasts. We are a non-profit organization, so all of our proceeds go back into supporting our mission.
Our visionary Artistic Director is Mr. Pugalenthii, who has over 30 years of experience in the theatre industry.

Our Accomplishments:

• Staged over 50 theatre productions, including many original plays.

• Staged the longest play in Singapore, with a staggering duration of 28 hours and 20 minutes.

• Organised the Tamil Drama Festival, Thisaivegam, the longest-running Tamil Drama Festival in Singapore's history.

• Partnered with Community Clubs and Indian Activity Executive Committees (IAECs) to bring Tamil dramas to the heartlands.

• Nurtured and equipped over 300 new actors, playwrights, and directors through the Winmeengal project.

• Conducted free theatre and acting workshops every Sunday, welcoming students, and adults alike to join in the joy of creative expression.

• organising a 10-day seminar with Don Bosco college in India, inviting theatre practitioners from Singapore and India to exchange knowledge and expertise.

• Highlight our Singapore Tamil plays and expand our Winmeengal Theatre Project internationally.
